German Cross-Border Employment Compliance

A six-module program for HR, mobility, and people-ops leads who need a durable map of German cross-border employment rules — and the habits to keep that map current.

Who it is for

Teams that already move people — and feel the paperwork lag

This program is built for employers with at least one German entity or a recurring corridor into Germany. You leave with shared vocabulary across HR, payroll, and external counsel — not a certificate that claims to license legal practice.

  • Mobility and global HR partners
  • In-house counsel preparing briefing packs
  • Payroll leads supporting posted or remote staff

Curriculum

Six modules, each ending in a working artefact

Module 1 — German employment touchpoints

Where German law typically attaches when staff live, work, or are paid across borders. Output: entity-exposure sketch.

Module 2 — Posting mechanics

Notifications, duration patterns, and the checklist we use before a Bavaria-bound assignment. Output: posting memo template.

Module 3 — Social security & A1 coordination

Timing, evidence, and common friction with A1 certificates on France–Germany and NL–Germany routes. Output: timeline board.

Module 4 — Contract & policy signals

Educational review of clause patterns that create or reduce ambiguity — without drafting your live contracts. Output: signal checklist.

Module 5 — Remote and hybrid border cases

Home-office days that accidentally create German employer duties. Output: escalation map for people-ops.

Module 6 — Running a compliance desk

Cadence, ownership, and when to pull counsel in. Output: 90-day operating plan.

Outcomes

What you can expect to take back to your desk

Shared decision language

HR and counsel stop talking past each other on postings and remote setups.

Reusable artefacts

Memos and checklists tailored to German corridors, ready for local annotation.

Clearer counsel briefs

Shorter, sharper questions when you do engage licensed advisors.

Known limits

You will know what this program does not cover — litigation, individual case opinions, and filings.

Participant notes

Recent voices from this program

★★★★☆

Module 3’s A1 timeline board cut the back-and-forth with our French partner. I still wanted more on construction-sector special rules — that sits outside the core track.

FAQ

Straight answers before you enrol

Is this legal advice?

No. Saasdatabridge provides educational consultations and frameworks. Individual employment decisions require licensed counsel familiar with your facts.

What is a real limitation of this program?

We do not cover sector-specific collective agreements in depth (for example, certain construction or care frameworks). If your workforce is heavily CBA-driven, you will still need specialist input after Module 4.

How large are cohorts?

We cap live groups at 38 seats so clinic hours stay usable. Waitlists roll to the next quarter.

Can finance pay by invoice?

Yes — after a contact conversation we issue planning details. This website does not process payments.

Ready for the next cohort?

Tell us your corridor and preferred quarter. We reply within two business days.
